The official GoBase64 Chrome Extension complies strictly with the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies:

• Zero Remote Code: The extension operates entirely offline without external script dependencies or remote execution.
• Permission Declarations:
  • contextMenus: Used strictly to allow you to right-click text or images on web pages for fast conversion shortcuts.
  • clipboardWrite: Used only to place your converted strings or CSS snippets onto your system clipboard upon request.
  • activeTab: Used solely to display transient floating status toasts on the active tab upon shortcut execution.
• Zero Data Transmission: The extension communicates with zero external analytics, tracking, or advertising endpoints.

4. Standard Web Server Logs & CDN

Like most websites hosted on enterprise edge networks (such as Netlify or Cloudflare), technical logs may record basic HTTP header information (such as your IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, and page request timestamps) for security, DDoS mitigation, and server performance monitoring.
